More Wrenching
After getting the engines back together it was time to tune the carbs, boring stuff but needed to be done. Installed new spark plugs, worth the $3.19. Getting back to the exhaust, the stock black paint was looking not so good, dull and rusted through in spots. We decided to wire wheel the paint off and cover with high temp clear coat. Neither of us lost any fingers grinding off the old paint but we did discover that my angle grinder could shake the fillings out of your teeth, numb hands for hours after using that thing. Final result is decent, better than black.
We also painted the exhaust guards a metalic grey, they look good. Can't wait to get going, stuck at work for the next week but the view ain't so bad.
